Aldous has been documenting the skate scene with the goal of preserving its deep sense of community. Their work focuses on the women’s skate scene, particularly through Hey Girl!, a project highlighting the stories of female and non-traditional skaters. This work has been published in Vice and Monster Children and was also exhibited at Fotografiska in New York City as part of a group show for David LaChapelle and the Harold Hunter Foundation.

Skateboarding has given Aldous the opportunity to connect with some of the most original and wholesome people around the world. They are fascinated by the way the skate scene drives the evolution of the sport through community efforts. Aldous believes it is crucial to document this progression to challenge outdated perceptions of skateboarders and highlight the impact of skate culture beyond the board.
